Just as I blogged a few days ago about superstars who will miss the world cup, we have a recent addition to the list. So sad for Man United as well....

How to watch the World Cup Games live over Internet...

I posted a similar post in time for the Africa Cup of Nations

Let me not waste time here.. All u need to do is
1-Go to www.myp2p.eu.
2-Go to software on the tab on top
3-Download any of the players available. Sopcast, TVU and TV
ants have worked for me
4-Near the software tab click on Live sports
5-The live games will appear and then u choose the game that u
want and then click on the TVthat appears at the far left end
6-Click at the link with the software that you installed and voila the
game will start playing automatically.

Dont miss a match use your internet quota and enjoy. The good thing is that when matches are played at the same time you can enjoy all of them at the same time.... TV - ants using VLC can do this...

World Cup Fever and Injuries

As I flipped through the weekend papers, all of the were awash with world cup stories. In one article the author is arguing that married women need not worry that when their husbands come late from watching these games in pubs because the pubs will have few prostitutes. Reason; they too have trekked down South in search of the Rooney....

But of interest to me is the ever increasing list of superstars who look very likely to miss the world soccer feast due to injuries. Starting with the self afflicted Becks injury during a Milan game through to the Prince Boateng tackle on the injury prone Michael Ballack during the FA Cup final at the Wembley pitch, the list of absentees due to injury looks but growing very rapidly. Rio Ferdinand, Arjen Robben, Mikel Obi, Michael Essien are sure absentees for now.

There is still hope that Martin Skrtel, Diego Forlan, Surrey Muntari, Andrea Pirlo, Harry Kewell, Tim Brown of New Zealand, Humberto Suazo of Chile, Lee-Dong Guk of South Korea, Wilson Palacios, Didier Drogba will recover in time for the games.

For me though, as a Manchester United supporter, I think that there is some hope on us regaining the Premier League crown since most Chelsea players are crocked and will continue to do so because they are ageing and are nearing he end of their playing careers... One man's shit is another one's food huh...

The news that a number of people were injured during a stampede that took place today at a Nigeria friendly is not very welcome.

Good luck to all the teams at the event. MY HEART IS WITH THE AFRICAN TEAMS
