Exams

Its that time again when I have to regurgitate the stuff these Professors have been piling on me. The exam journey started today with last semester's exam in Solar Energy... Even though I had a tough time to choose from the six questions that were there... to be honest they were five... the other one was torture not a question.... I managed to do the exam in good time and hope to get the best from what I attempted. The next exam is on Monday, Other Forms of Energy aah still have memories from last week so it should not be a very big problem. Ha in a few days I will be home again!!!!!!!!! wow what a sweet feeling...... but still have to do the case study on this World Bank thing, do the report on solar, and Dr Da Silva's assignment... Koma tikwanitsa!!!!!!!!!!!!

Insipired and Motivated

Today I talked to my friend Martin Msukwa who told me and sent me a picture of the house that he is building. Looking at it you get the feeling that it is a state house but wow. This motivated me a lot!!!! on top of that I was also told by my dear wife Wezzie that our friend Temwa has roofed her house and is about to start a second one. This inspired me and gave me a drive to venture into a project that will end up in having a house within the coming three years. A big and good one. To this effect I have asked Martin to get a plot on a >1 acre land in Kameza for MK500,000 so that when I get there in Dec I start building the fence to the proposed house.... Yes we can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Use of Internet and Friends

A recent story that was posted on NYASANET has left me asking myself if the rate at which I sit in front of this machine and screen through Nyasanet, Facebook and Freenyasanet, which I am still spamming all messages from it because I was registered by accident will not compromise the time I spend with my loved ones and friends. The internet is extremely fast here but on good day I find my self spending a lot of time just reading through Nyasanet and Facebook, let alone if I have to peep through, The Daily Times, The Nation, Nyasatimes while listening to music on Meetmalawi (I am not sure if it still exists) or Radioyako, Radiochambo, RadioMaria or worse still listen listen to day break Malawi on Capital Radio. iiiiii these things are just too many!!!

There are people on this forum (NYASANET) that belong to and are active contributors to almost every discussion forum at least those by Malawians ie Malawiana, Freenyasanet, Nyasanet, Malawivillage, malawitalk.... I have forgotten the others and am not sure if all these are forums (correction very welcome). And also a good number send posts to these forums as THEMSELVES and then they have to represent their PSEUDOs which usually come in numbers. But you also find them on so many social forums, ie Facebook, Hi5. myspace, chanichani chanichaniso.. Surely if you just google a number of names of most Nyasanetters you will come across one or two blogs that they author.

My friend once complained to me that his ICT guy blocked access to Facebook at work. The ICT guy was apparently overwhelmed at the time that people were spending on this site. It reduced the productivity of the company heavily. Vuto ndilakuti when you want to concentrate somebody pops up and wants to spend time with u online. Umangozindikila lunch yakwana., zomwe wachita zosaoneka bwinobwino

My Worry: It takes me quite a while to peruse through the two forums that I subscribe to, so if I were to subscribe to four or even more surely I would take almost going to this one and coming back to the other one because ma message wo ndiye amabweladi.

Please note that I have written this post not in reference to any soul but just a a thought that came to me after a shocker I saw on one of the forums. I hear it is false and I am releived thats why I have written this one.

So ladies and gentlemen it is not only the people that we interact with on Nyasanet that matter. I am saying this because I give most of my time in a day to it. Tiyeni technology yi isatisokoneze ma relationships and friendship.

Is it internet I need to have my football?

Fellows who love football like I do there is a way you can watch your football in the comfort of checking your mail as long as you have internet of good speed. I do not know the legality of it. Maybe in some countries it is not allowed. Actually with what I am going to outline here all you need is to throw away your expensive decoder and look for an ISP to give you the much loved internet and yo ready to go. By the way can you check mail on DSTV or GTV......

All you need is to go to this website http://www.myp2p.eu/ and download software which you need to watch your favorite Liverpool lose to Tottenham actually at http://www.myp2p.eu/software.php?part=software and download a player of your choice. Sopcast and TV Ants have proved to be very easy to use to me. Install the player of course..

Since am writing this for soccer lovers then the way to go is http://www.myp2p.eu/index.php?part=sports or better still for Man Utd oh sorry soccer lover then go to http://www.myp2p.eu/competition.php?competitionid=&part=sports&discipline=football

When there you will see a TV sign on the far right. Click on it and you will be directed to another page where you will chose the player that you have installed above by clicking play.

Almost there: the player will open automatically and VOILA!!!!!!!! there is Rooney and Ronaldo. So my question is do we really need to waste our money on that one or just have broad band internet and off we go???????
